Those words belonging to Blackjack

Last time, I talked about something about blackjack. Many of my friends started to play it. But they were still confusing about some words, and wish I can write more about blackjack poker game. Ok, now I am going to continue the last article.

Here I would like to introduce some words that you can see them in blackjack poker game when you play.

Stand: If the poker player is satisfied with his hand as-is he may stand pat. To signify you wish to stand, wave your hand as if to wave the dealer away. In a single deck game, tuck your cards face down under your bet.

Hit: If the player wishes to take another card he may continue to do so until he either stands or busts. To signify you wish to hit, tap the table with your finger. In a single deck game, scrape your cards lightly against the felt.

Double: If the player feels he needs one and only one more card then he may double his bet and be dealt one more card, good or bad. This option is only offered on the first two cards, and sometimes on the first two cards after splitting. To signify you wish to double, place another wager next to your original wager of equal value. In single deck, place your cards face up by your bet.

Split: If the player's first two cards are of equal point value he may split them into two hands. In this event each card is the first card of a new hand. The player must also make another wager, of equal value to the first wager, for the second hand. Splitting after splitting is allowed; however, resplitting aces is often an exception. The player may usually split up to 2 or 3 times if another splitting opportunity arises. Doubling after splitting is usually but not always allowed. To signify you wish to split put the additional wager next to the original wager. In single deck, place your cards face up by your bet.

Surrender: Finally, some casinos offer the player the option to surrender on the first two cards. If the player does not like his prospects he may forfeit half the bet as well as his cards. If the dealer has a ten or ace showing, and the dealer peeks at his hole card for a blackjack before the first player's turn, then the option is called "late surrender." If the dealer does not check for blackjack, or does not take a hole card at all, then the option is called "early surrender." Early surrender is much better for the player, because of the protection against a dealer blackjack.

After all players have played their hands, from the dealer's left to right, the dealer will play his hand. The dealer has no free will but must always play by certain house rules. Usually the poker rule is that the dealer must hit until he reaches a score of 17 or more. Some casinos stipulate that if the dealer has a soft 17, an ace and any number of cards totaling 6, he must also hit. If the dealer busts, all players that did not bust automatically win.

Have fun with playing blackjack

In the world poker game, blackjack is one of the popular poker games. Here I want to tell everybody some official poker rules of how to play blackjack. Blackjack can be played with one to eight ordinary decks of cards. Cards of rank 2 through 10 are scored according to their face value. All face cards are 10 points. Aces are semi-wild and can be worth either 1 or 11 points. The highest hand in blackjack is an ace and any 10-point card and is called a blackjack. A winning blackjack pays 3 to 2. If both player and dealer have a blackjack the bet is a push. Aside from a blackjack, a winning hand pays even money. The player wins if his hand has more points than the dealer, without going over 21. Thus, a 21-point hand is the highest and is why the game is sometimes called 21. If either the player or dealer go over 21 it is called a break or bust and a busted hand automatically loses. If both the player and the dealer bust the player loses, where lies the house advantage. If the poker player and the dealer tie, the bet is a push.

A round of blackjack begins with each player placing a bet in the circle or logo directly in front of him. Then the dealer will give each player and himself two cards. Player cards are usually dealt face up. One dealer card is dealt face up (the up card) and the other face down (the hole card). If the dealer has a ten or an ace as the up card it is possible he has a blackjack, in which case all player hands will lose except those with another blackjack. In the U.S. the dealer will check for blackjack immediately, if one is possible, and will collect all losing bets immediately if he does have a blackjack.

In the event the dealer has an ace as the up card he will allow the players to insure their hands against a blackjack. This is much like any insurance policy in which you are betting something bad will happen. The insurance bet in blackjack pays 2:1 if the dealer has a blackjack. If the dealer has an ace showing and a player has a blackjack the dealer may ask "even money?" This is because if the player has a blackjack the net result of both the blackjack and the insurance bet will be an even money win regardless of whether the dealer has a blackjack. After all players have had a chance to accept or decline insurance the dealer will check the hole card.

After it has been established that the dealer does not have a blackjack the players in turn may play their hands. The following options are available.

The Rules of Texas Hold 'Em Poker

Recently, some of my friends read my blog, and they are curious about how to play Texas Hold 'Em Poker. I don't want to tell them one by one, but writing the rules here to save time.

Here are some professional words about the official poker rules when playing Texas Hold 'Em Poker.

The Shuffle, The Deal and The Blinds
The dealer shuffles a standard 52-card deck. In casinos, the dealer never plays. A round disc -- known as a "dealer button" -- moves clockwise from player to player with each hand. The button marks which player would be the dealer if the deal were advanced from player to player as the game went along.

Most Texas Hold 'Em Poker games start with the two players to the left of the dealer (the button) putting a predetermined amount of money into the pot before any cards are dealt, ensuring that there's something to play for on every hand. This is called "posting the blinds." Most often, the "first blind" -- the player to the left of the dealer -- puts up half the minimum bet, and the "second blind" puts up the full minimum bet. Each player is dealt two cards, face down. These are known as the "hole cards".

Betting Begins
A round of betting takes place, beginning with the player to the left of the two who posted the blinds. Players can call, raise, or fold when it's their turn to bet.

The Flop
After the first betting round, the dealer discards the top card of the deck. This is called burning the card and is done to ensure that no one accidentally saw the top card, and to help prevent cheating. The dealer then flips the next three cards face up on the table. These cards are called the "flop". Eventually, a total of five community cards will be placed face up on the table. Players can use any combination of the community cards and their own two hole cards to form the best possible five-card Poker hand. After the flop, another round of betting takes place, beginning with the player to the left of the dealer (the button). During this and all future rounds of betting, players can check, call, raise, or fold when it's their turn to bet.

Fourth Street
The dealer burns another card and plays one more face up onto the table. This, the fourth community card, is called the "turn" or "Fourth Street". The player to the left of the dealer (the button) begins the third round of betting.

Fifth Street
The dealer burns another card before placing the final face-up card on the table. This card is called the "
river" or "Fifth Street".

Final Betting and The Winner
Players can now use any combination of seven cards -- the five community cards and the two hole cards known only to them -- to form the best possible five-card Poker hand. The fourth and final round of betting starts with the player to the left of the
dealer (the button). After the final betting round, all players who remain in the game reveal their hands. The player who made the initial bet or the player who made the last raise shows their hand first. The player with the
best hand wins.

Win Money from Video Poker

Playing video poker for some time. Just now I counted my account, wow, really amazing number! It's over 10 times of my principal. Now I would like to share my experience. The important custom is that I always use many different ways instead of one way. I would never use only one way to play poker games from the beginning to the end.

I think
gambling is just like a person, it has emotion. Gambling is like a war, the purpose is to get win at last. So when I gamble, I would like to consider the general situation. I won't care about the process, but only focus on the result. I will use some ways to play from the general situation, consider each turn's bunko as a war, and use relevent ways to get the final success.

Here I sum up several strategies:

1. If you want to win, lose first. When playing
black jack, at the time I win all the time he will get angry. Then he will win all the time. At this moment, I will lose on purpose. Pay least, ask for any cards until bust. After several times, I will get black jack naturally or 20 points. At this time, continue to pay larger bet. In this way, it can throw the software's procedure into confusion, which means let the dealer to be arrogant. So you can win it in a short time.

2. Win from my luck. Everytime when I win, I will give myself to my luck, and use 10% to play slots. No matter win or lose. If I can get a satisfied success, I will leave.

3. Stir up trouble to serve one's ends. I like to use the money that I won to gamble. So once I feel the situation is good, I will raise 20 after win 10, and then 50, 150...... If I lose, it's just 10. But how can we get this situation, that's exactly the difference between proficent and nonproficent. It's not easy to say but just get the experience from the practice.

4. Keep watching. When playing
roulette or baccarat, you can watch other people first or pay red and black at the same time to get some information. Pay larger bet at the important time.

5. Get away. If the strategies are not working, just leave quickly. Anyway, you have chances in the future.

All in all, gamble from the general situation, and never care for each times' bunko. This is exactly the same between gambling and war.

I hope this can help some people who is in confusion now.

The feeling after playing Texas holdem

Last few days I learned a new poker game--Texas holdem, which is really an interesting game. Texas holdem poker game is a popular world game, and it can be played by at least two people and at most ten people in a desk. If you want to win, it not only depends on your lucky but also your poker skills. First of all, if you can get two good cards such as a pair or same suit, then it is a good way to have a big chance to be the winner. But that is only lucky and you can not always rely on it. Here I want to introduce some poker skills about how to win.

First, the position you choose is very important. Normally the position in the right side of the dealer is very strong. We often call this position cut-off. If you sit here, you can get more chances than other people to win or avoid loss. Second, you will have a
poker face, which means no matter what kinds of cards you have, you won't let your opponents know your cards from your face. Otherwise, they will raise more or fold earlier. But if you are really good at changing your face, maybe you can cheat your opponents. Sometimes you can get success in this way, but if people know you, it will be difficult to control. So the best way is keeping a poker face. Last, when you decide to fold, call or raise, look at your cards in you hands first. If they are bigger than ten, you can hold them. Otherwise, unless they are a pair or same suit, you'd better fold them.
